Question,

Should I mount the Roof Antenna on the Roof!!!!!!!!!, or on the Trunk Lid like some have?

Gonna install it in a few minutes just wondering what location you guys think is best.

Mine is mounted in the center of the shelf behind the rear seats. I didn't want it on the exterior for many reasons. I have perfect reception and you never even know the antenna is there.

 

Will it work okay you think with Metalic Tint ? I would think so considering the NAVI has good reception too and that is under the rear shelf

 

Not sure about the tint, but give it a try. The install guys tested mine on the rear shelf before doing it to make sure it would work. Try inside first. If it doesn't work, then consider the outside.

 

i have mine on the trunk lid, works flawlessly!!

 

Trunk lid as well. I didn't even try on the shelf b/c of the tint. There's no doubt it would effect reception being this far north (New England).

 

just put it on the read deck!
