wtf?!

i leave work at its dark and notice on the way my headlamps flickered on and off once during the ride back. my speedometer flickered as well and the gas gauge and rpms. srs lamps and batt lamp flickered and navi reset.

ok, now i park the car leave it off for 50 mins and drive home only to have the car reset as stated above, but now the hork honks every time i give it gas from a stop instead of easing it. basically, everytime i accelarate at normal speed, the car resets everything electrical, HIDs flicker off and on, and the horn honks. if i accelarate at below normal speed, everything resets w/o the horn honk.

WTF is wrong w my car? alternator? battery? remote start? sound system? i'm including sound system since i noticed the problem starting with the left mb quart component speaker cutting out, 5 mins later problems started.

i'm gonna call acura roadside in the morn to have my car towed to springfield acura first thing in the morning.... wish me luck.

btw: 43,000 miles. on 2nd tranny

Car had no problems in the morning but I had the car towed anyway to the dealer in the morning. They took down my description of what happened and they gave me a loaner RSX and said they'll call me as soon as they take a look at the car. After explaining what had happened the service manager said it may be the alternator.

Maybe the speaker is shorting out, the speaker wire maybe contacting the chasis and causing those other problems? I'd check that out.

sometimes it's as simple as a loose battery or electrical connection...(or the clamps/straps that hold them squeezed too tightly?)
