why SOHC?

why SOHC?
How come all of honda's V6 engines , witht he exception of the NSX, only have SOHC? wouldnt a DOHC setup provide more performance? All the shitty nissian engines are DOHC

Cost mostly. Also Honda knows how to build engines good enough to not require DOHC to compete.
