WTF did the Acura dealer do to my car!?!?

Goddamn I wish Park Ave Acura was closer!

Fuck... took my car to local dealer today for 7500 mile service...

brought them a case of Mobil1 5W-30... asked them to change oil... leave tires alone... don't wash it... fix sunroof squeek... check out my rough tranny.

I get there... they tell me they changed oil... WASHED THE CAR?! ROTATED MY TIRES?!?! WTF and the Sunroof actually makes MORE noise.

Then they proceeded to tell me theres no way to examine the tranny if the check engine light isnt on.

Fucking inbred hick morons.

Anyway... so to top it off...

I drive it out of there... and notice my car is making all sorts of noise over bumps.

ARRRGGHHHH!!!!! Wtf did they do? Did they fuck my ground control's up on the lift???

It makes a squeeking sound out of front right and rear left now... the noise is similar to like, rubbing wet glass or something... weird streaking sound.

FUCK im soooooo pissed.

I can't wait to have a fucking hissy fit tomorrow.

Also... they drove the shit outta my car in order to "check my tranny" fuckin scum bags.

FUCK.

So why is my car squeking now? Riddle me that.

I've been getting some simlar shit too. I Will get a bad clicking noise on the passenger seat for a day then it will go away for a month. It is the most fucking annoying thing in the world. Once in a while when someone is sitting on the car the front seat will squeak and it will sound like a 92 Escort. I think I'm gonna take the seat out and try to see what's underneath there or what's going on. Let me know what Acura says.

what the hell does it have to do with an american car?

don't be a prick.

this has to do with an Acura dealer who can't seem to get their act together.

my car was PERFECT minus a lil rattle from the sunroof before I dropped it off to them. now something is reallly fucked up. heh

I definately don't wanna hear anything from you, Audi dealers are no better. The only reason I don't own an Audi is cuz both of the dealerships around here are inhabited by complete assholes.

ANYWAY, so this sound... is coming from my suspension... it only happens when I go over bump... I'm sure it has something to do with the Coil-Overs.

Could it be that they need to be re-seated or something? Does putting the car on a lift fuck them up?

Or did they just beat my car so bad in the couple hours I left it there that they completely fucked it. heh

I'm bringing mine in for the tranny soon, also do any of you have problems with the heated seats?? Basically what happens is that I am confortable, then all of a sudden the seat gets really hot, I don't think its me getting hot, but the switch for the Heated Seats is off. Could there be a short?

Why didn't you take your car to someone who knows what they are doing for the oil change? Then have Acura only check the roof and tranny? You had to be paying them over $100.00 for the oil change (using your oil)?

I dunno... cuz I'm a dumbass and it was easier to do it all at once at dealer.

I paid like $70 for service with my oil. Ridiculous indeed.

Mike, PAA is like 2 1/2 hrs from me... close enough for me to buy the car from them... far enough that bringing there for service just doesnt work

Your sig dosen't show sway bars, but " rubbing wet glass" sounds like sway bar bushings needing lubrication.

If you go over bumps (one bump per wheel at one time) and it makes a squeaky sound, make sure you check your sway bars...esp. the end joints..could be they are not torqued tight enough.

As for the "test drive", fucking dealers will test drive the shit outta your car...I had a buddy buy a red integra GS-R. The gas fill-up bald headed asian dude drove his car, PEELING the front tires (the car has 0 miles on the odo)...and freakin' almost jumped off the exit ramp...and my buddy actually SAW this happen...he's a dumb ass so he just pretended nothing happened..

fucking dealers...

check your end joints on the sway bars...it may be the culprit...or perhaps you may have one blown strut..

Speak of the Devil!!!

Dude when I went to pick up my car after I got my tranny oil changed...while I was leaving the lot (some speed bumps on their lot) my car was squeaking like a bitch...never did this before and I had ground controls installed by myself with tokico shocks for a couple months now...so you know what I do, put the shit in reserve and stop right in front of the service advisor...I bitch the hell out of that fool...He was like I cant do anything about modified suspensions...well I was like so if I have a modified suspension and your stupid ass mechanic goes for a test drive and curbs the car and fucks up the suspension, it's still my fault for having a modified suspension, unfucking ridiculous I said to myself...got out of there after a good five minutes of bitching...I jack up the front left where it was making a squeaking sound, and then I sprayed WD-40 on the lower control arms and the shock assembly and joints that hinge...after couple minutes of the lube doing its job, the squeaking is gone...but WD-40 runs out after a while, so next time I have the tires off or jack the car up, imma go to an autoparts store and buy a lil tub of Mobil 1 Synthetic all heavy duty all purpose grease and blob some on the joints and hinges...Soopa make sure your shocks dont blow, after installing my GC, the shocks went out after about 2 weeks...and I had it lowered about the same height are yours...btw your squeaking shouldnt be a big problem, get some mobil grease and lube them up...oh yea btw I had 8 miles on my odometer clocked when I picked up my car...guess he had a fun test drive...

LOL, thanks for the tip holmes...

Its right on target just took too long!

That's exactly what I did actually, jacked it up, adjusted the GC's a bit... sprayed it with some spray lube.

VOILA, after bout 5 minutes the squeaks were gone. Weird.

Wonder what putting it on a lift has to do with causing the squeaks?

And yea, I believe ya about the shocks... I dont know if its me being paranoid from all the warnings... but i can kinda feel the ride getting a bit bouncier.

Oh well, if they go... time for Koni's.

I've seen places spray brake cleaner on the exterior of the pan after an oil change to clean up any leftover oil.

Perhaps the overspray dried out your joints? Just a thought.
