So, is this actual evidence that an S4 is not as fast as advertised??? I know it should hit mid 14s if you kill the clutch, but...HAHAHAAHAH...

...Just got back from the track this evening. My buddy and I were planning to break the 14 sec barrier with our cars. His was a 2 week old Audi S4; mine 11 month old Type-S.First Race: Type S: 15.039 @ 90.50, 60ft time 2.390, R/T .799. S4: 15.078 @ 94.36, 60ft 2.351, R/T .914.
Second Race: Had a TV camera man in the car, and was allowed to only go up to 60mph before shutting it down! Track rule. 1/4 mile time 18.7 sec!
Anyway, to make a long story short, we both were interviewed on a local news channel regarding our need for speed and our thoughts on "The Fast and Furious". Also filmed us leaving the Tree!
What a great night! Did not want to race any more there after. We both decided to head back home to watch the 10 o'clock news

How does it feel to have beaten the highly touted s4? Was it an auto, or what? That would be some cool video to see. You should get a copy and mpeg it.

Yup, you heard it. I guess they did not want additional liability. I don't know
. It's rather difficult to maintain 60mph when you're launching hard out of the gate and that rush of acceleration ... man, what a RUSH!------------------

Yeah that would be cool, but to be truthful, he did take it easy out of the gate. That car has some serious HP. Look at the 1/4 mile time. It's very close to mine. This coming from a Baby start!Anyway, I recorded the segment but they only showed us leaving the line
