WRX and some 1/8th mile experiences...

well last night i made another trip to my local 1/8th test and tune...where i beat a blown 7.99 98 GT and later got to know the cool couple, the girl friend was driving,i acctually lost ,because i pulled a .469 tree and believe it or not she didnt run me down pulling a 9 flat to my 9.7...later i also redlighted against this WRX he had only exhaust and was pulling 9.8's...maybe he cant drive dont know! but i busted another high 4 pulled a redlight but walked away from him deep....so i was happy. I did manage however a .534 to a 9.609 @75.**with a 90 % full tank of gas...(didnt know i was going and had already filled up)
all in all it was fun...i dont think ill go again until RES...

Rough figures:

1/8 ET * 1.53-1.57
1/8 trap * 1.26-1.30

Of course, not exact, but should get within +/- .1-2 and +/- 1-2 mph

I get roughly a 14.8@95 for his 9.6@75

Hey Type-R,

Do you get any rubbing with the 235/45/17's?? The widest some local shops recommend are the 225/40/17's. I have stock wheels and the H&R sports.

no rubbing at all...i think you would have a hard time fitting 225/40 on stocks, but ,225/45 no problem

Yeah sorry, I meant 225/45/17. I'm thinking about getting the S03's. $175 each at Costco.
