WOW! Honda better get their sh*t together...
if they want to remain any kind of an enthusiast's car maker. Check out what Nissan (NISMO) sent to us future Z owners:
Performance Parts Questionnaire
Pay particular attention to these points...
I cannot wait!

Please assume they do not void the vehicle warranty!
Which of the following parts would you also be interested in considering? (If desired, check more than one.)
High performance limited slip differential
Stainless steel brake lines
Rear-lower suspension brace
Turbocharger kit
Supercharger kit
Body cladding
Sport steering wheel
Gauges
None of the above

very smart to see what people want most and then figure well , we will give them what they want and make even more money off of it . Honda needs to take a more active role in their performance tuning, I mean think of the modded civics and accords you see out there. Get with the program honda.

Cost Drivers!!!!
If honda does it will take a while Honda=hard core conservative Also, the core of honda's sales are for people who are looking for afforadable reliability, NOT, pure performance.
Although nothing is kick in the pants like sagging sales.

Funny I was just having this discussion with friend last night. Honda IMO needs a to drop the CLS engine in the S2000. The only real chance they have without introducing a new vehicle. They need to add more RWD cars to their lineup to compete. Since they don't have them, they will fall behind. FWD only good for the snow

That is an awesome idea...
Mad props to Nissan... I think Honda has lost out on a Huge market by not selling performance parts for the cars..
Cars like the Civic, Accord, & RSX have really good demand for these parts, and Honda could help off set their sagging sales with these revenues/profits...
(by the way, Nissan stock hit an all-time high last week...)

Wow, much props for Nissan!
Sounds like things are finally coming back around... when was it, back in the 60's when Dodge, Chevy and Ford used to duke it out at the drag strips every weekend and the Manufacturers would actually build new models just to outdue the other manufacturers.
They have some really good shows on the SPEED channel on weekends where they cover this kinda stuff.

If they don't buckle up and step to the plate with authority, then they most def will be the next Volvo, nice cars, lagging sales. I'll leave them faster than the price of gas keeps rising.

Wait a minute everybody. Didn't you all see the "performance package" you can get on the Civic for like 3 grand?
What a bunch of BS.
Wasn't there a rumor last year that Honda was getting back into the aftermarket parts business? It takes no genious to look at the numbers and understand that anyone not in that business is losing out HUGE.

Does anyone think Nissan will put a Turbo on the 350Z in the future? Maybe in a year or two?
Now that I think about it, what the hell happened to all the cool Turbo cars? 300Z, Supra, 3000GT, RX7, Eclipse, etc....
I'd bet that Toyota is going to throw a Turbo on the IS300 in the near future. Because of the fact that they're REALLY starting to fall behind on the HP wars now, with all the higher HP cars coming out lately....... Plus, it would kinda be like a Supra Turbo in an IS300 body......very easily done.
