Would I be a ho if I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change?
Everytime I call my Acura dealer their too busy for me for like a week.
Going to NYC tomorrow and dont feel like spending the weekend on the shitty ass dirty oil in my car.
Would I be a cheap whore if I just took my case of Mobil 1 to Jiffy Lube?

It really doesn't matter. Bring your own oil and just watch them change the shit; they'll be annoyed but f' em it's your car. They'll also try to tell you that you need to change your radiator fluid because it's old ands gonna corrode your raidator etc..just say no to all that BS and you'll be fine.

Oils well that ends well. As long as they know what they are doing (and almost all do), and are useing the Oil/Filter you are happy with, go for it..

This car is so easy to do yourself. Unless you're FAT, you can slide under it to drain the oil and then you can easily access the oil filter by turning the wheels all the way to the right. The filter is almost already in the wheel well.
You're a lazy f'ing panty-wearing 'ho if you don't do it yourself. It takes literally 15 minutes.
Soopa, you WILL have to put some clothes on - ghetto or no ghetto...

Oil change.
EricS is right. It's very easy to change oil and filter on a CL. Just jack up the front right corner up a bit and you can reach under the car. I use a 2 qt. yogurt container to catch the oil filter and drippings. My dealer gave me a free oil and filter change and overfilled the crankcase. I use Mobil 1 5w-30 and Purolator PureOne oil filter no. PL14459. $ 5.99 at Pepboys. Very well made oil filter with excellent oil flow. Do something yourself for your car. The car and you will feel good. It'like therapy. Good Luck!

Be careful and don't put too much torque on the drain plug when you retighten. Some lady was at the dearler with a bent oilpan after an ol change. Don't know if it was a Cl but sounds like a nightmare.

Find an independent mechanic thas specializes in japanese cars. Build a relationship. Not only will you have someone you can trust but it sure takes the edge off paying for repairs. If you keep reciepts your warranty will be intact.
