Would i have a chance against a stock srt-4?

Just get a run in, can't hurt anything. Before I had any mods I ran a bone stock '03/'04 Silver SRT-4 and he was about 1/2 car behind to 110 when I shifted to 4th then he pulled up even with me and might've pulled away a bit had we not let off. I hate 4th gear in the auto, even now with mods it's still a dog in 4th!!

Edit - I just talked to him, it "was" a bone stock '04.. Now he has work done, and so do I, so looks like we'll have to have another go at it.

which was it 03 or 04? the 03 has 215hp/230tq and the 04 has 230hp/250tq

Did you read my "edit". I said it IS a 2004 SRT-4, and at that time we were both stock. Now, we are both modified, so we'll give it another go.

i got lots of exprience vs a srt4

they are very very hard to launch because they have no lsd, i have NEVER lost to a srt4 to the 1/8th marker, even heavily modded ones, but they pass me hard in 3rd

even if hes stock he'll pull on you up top, so dont go from a roll

your best bet is to go from a dig and depending on how good of a driver you or your friend is u might be able to hold him off till 80ish if not more

Yea we were both stock when we ran the first time, we ran from a dig to 110 though and I held him a car back, and he pulled up next to me on the 3rd to 4th shift, prob would have pulled from there had we not let off. Now he has mods, but so do I, I think I can pull off on him. I toyed with a '04 SRT-4 last night, kid claimed he had aftermarket BOV and boost controller, with an intake, and he wanted to run quick to see what it would do. He pulled on me from a dig because I spun A LOT, but from a roll (50mph-90mph) I started walking away from him. We didn't do any high speed being that it was on a main street loaded with cops.

the 04's and 05's have lsd

I traded my '98cl 3.0 for an 03 srt (floor/whore LMAO)
I was thinking cl type s, but I'm too poor LOL

I ran the ac a few times so I have a little track experience (ran a best of 15.8 with just aem short ram)

my best stock was a 14.4 at 98 (in the srt)
I put $300 of mods in (used) and with drag radials my best was 13.1 at 106.9
now I trap 109.6 or so since I got exhaust and my best like this is 13.4

anyways, I've seen one guy run a 14.0 stock, but most I see are mid 14's stock at the track, and lots of guys with mods struggle to get into the 13's

and for hp, I've seen ,many srt runs at the dyno, and they're all different
one '04 had 239 whp stock, others have much less, cause with the turbo, you can have boost leaks and all that

on the other hand, there are a couple around that trap 115-123 and you can't tell the difference, so be careful
one guy here in Mass has a muffler and stage 3 and runs 11.8's all day, and ran a 11.7 last weekend

the fwd isn't easy, as the acuras

so stock for stock, you are damn close, run him, cause the people who run 13.9's shift like a mofo and do a burnout
