Is it worth it to do your own Tinting?
Just surfing online today...and read about DIY tinting. Is it worth the effort, or should I look into having a 'professional' do it?
I would guess that it's not worth the pain that it could cause - I could see myself putting a big bubble in the stuff and regretting it for then next ten years.

if you want it to look good, have someone do it professionally. i have done it to my car when i was in high school but, well you know. obviously its not brain surgery but these so called professionals have done it many times more than you or me.

Doing tints yourself is like painting the body yourself. It's more of an art then science. Installing sways yourself is one thing...but with tints...there is so many things that can go wrong with a slight move of the hand. Get it professionally done...so if something was wrong...there is someone to run after.

Yeah it's better to have a pro do it. I see these guys doing tint, & they make it look so easy. You have to remember though they have done it thousands of times, on tons of different cars, they have the right tools, & they have the right materials. The 1 shop I go to does about 10-15 cars in 1 saturday. They must do at least 100/week

NO: if you want to be a cheap a$$ and to save a few bucks, after all its YOUR car, don't treat it like that, give it the best!
