Nice deep tone at idle and across the RPM band...Like "typeR" said...actually a tad bit more quiet at idle. Mine are almost 2 years old as well...and still in great shape..still the same sound as when I put them on.

Looks nice. How much was the intall? I'm looking to get some mufflers put on, and was curious what it would cost me.

14829:

I think a 4" tip is just too big, makes it look too much like the typical fart cannon on most imports. I think the Comptech tips are perfect at 3.5" round.

yeah, but the rolled oblong is like TOO much of a oblong shape...plus, it's a fuckin long ass tip, which would most likely stick out from the bumper.

Nice, I think I've found a better and cheaper replacement than the HKS Super-Dragers.

Don't mind if I bite.

Ehh I'd get the Dragers if I had $600 to throw away for only a few hp, but $180 plus installation charges with a new and different tone sounds better.

mine quoted me about 220 ish, and that seemed reasonable to me, considering the amount of welding involved. thats also with mandrel bent pipes

you going with just axleback?

$150 to make a custom axleback is about right. $150 to cut off the old mufflers and then weld the magnaflows is too much.

that does not really sound like mine do... i guess the sound changes a lot once your put on headers.. i have a CAI too but i think the guy in the video has one too judging by the loudness in vtec...when my exhaust gets very hot from like extended driving, the tone gets A LOT deeper and louder... like you can almost feel the vibration and deepness inside the car especially from 2-3rpm
I love it though!
