woot just installed my magnaflow 14832's

They look and sound awesome!!! Omg

The weather is really shitty here so pics will have to wait until tomorrow. Even the installer was like "wow those look great!"

They are not too big, not too small..just right. And not too loud either, I don't even hear them unless I really get on the gas. Idle is as quiet as stock.

pic

I put my old 2003 TypeS exhausts up for sale...

Purchased them on www.justmagnaflow.com they shipped very quickly!

I had them installed at a local muffler shop. Since they are universal, the old ones needed to be cut off and these new ones welded on as well as hangers. Install charge was about $70

eh, you mentioned that you were putting up the stockers for sale? I don't see em in the black market. How much are you asking em for?

lol sorry I meant that I "May" put them up for sale, but it wouldn't let me edit my post after I relaized the type-o

Let me get used to these for a while, If I still like them after a week or so I will put them up in the F/S section.

Haven't thought of a price yet..

PS, does anyone know if they will get a bit louder over time? I hear that after they burn in, they tend to get a bit louder. Any truth to this?

Actually it's true with most exhausts, especially ones that are packed with Fiberglass rather than stainless steel. I bet that the magnaflows are packed with fiberglass and as that burns out, they will get louder. Stainless never burns out and retains the tone from day one to when your car rusts apart...since the stainless never will

But it shouldn't be horrible, since you still have the stock piping and resonator in place!

^ Thanks

Here are some very quick and dirty pics, it was raining so I just took a few shots. I will get better ones today or tomorrow when the sun is out and I can get closer to the ground.

Looks super clean, you said that the exhaust sounds dead on stock when idling. What about WOT? Do they get plenty loud? The reason why I ask is I am going to be installing my headers and the next objective for me to accomplish is a decent exhaust that IS QUIET! I don't want fart cans or to sound like a racer. What do you think?

they are not loud at all so far, at least from inside the car. They still sound pretty stock.

I will get my frined to drive my car and I will stand outside tomorrow and let you know.

It is definitly not a fart can sound at all.

Maybe I'm just weird, but those still look too big to me. is that a 4" tip?

Post some sound bites of them, I'm curious.

.5 inch smaller and thed be perfect for me, still though they look clean, much better than most others that i have seen. if you can post a sound clip, that would be very helpful. ive heard some magnaflows on a 99 tl but they were loud even at idle, but sounded really good at wot.

I like the wider openings.. very nsx-ish. And that's how you'll get a deeper sound 2.

edit: And what is/would be the exact P/N for the CL-S? I'd like to order some.

and btw the cores are all SS.

They are universal exhausts. part 14832. They are not bolt on, you need to have them professionally installed.

Those look awesome, on both cars. I think they are just the right size. I have the comptechs and the pipes are a good size on their own, but the big bumper cutouts in the car make them look smaller than they are, to me anyway. They fill the cutoutps perfectly. IMO the comptechs look much better on the TL's.
