Let us know how they work for you. I am interested in these. You ordered the AEM ones, right? Those are the only ones I found, so I am assuming so.

Man, after all these mods lately, your car is going to be kicking it!!!

i put the pulleys on last week and don't feel sqwat. well maybe a few HP but not much. But the car responds better now in the steering and accelerator. It's a mod thats worth it but don't expect much. It's amazing how much lighter these pulleys are then stock though

The only thing I noticed from my AEM pulleys is my headlights dim at idle. Since the alternators is spinning slower it's output is dropped a tad. They do look nice though.

In my old car when I replaced the battery I went ahead and went with a higher wattage. You think that would help compensate for the pulleys?

ya, and it wasn't easy. I had to remove a motor mount and drop the motor to get the belts on. It took me about an hour. And be prepared your gonna need a 22mm - 23mm on the alternator pulley.

So when the headers and sways would be in with the AEM pulleys?

I ended up not getting the sways for now. I kinda want to wait to see if new konis will do the job for me. I really don't want that much more of a rough ride then I already have.

it's not that hard, you just have to put a jack under the motor then remove the mount. It's quite simple actually. You can have someone else do it but don't expect it to be cheap, this might turn out to be a 300$ pulleys + installation job.

If I recall correctly, one of the pulleys was held on with a reverse threaded nut. You may want to keep that in mind if you're installing them yourself.

you don't really have to drop it though, just put a jack underneath and remove the mount, it's real easy

when are you guys gonna learn, comptech isn't covered under warranty either. It's fine on your warranty as long as it is not what causes the damage. If your comptech headers some how fuck up your motor, it's not gonna be covered under warranty. So they will be fine on your warranty as long as they don't cause problems which they won't most likely.

as for install i've seen anywhere from 90-250$

I buy comptech because I thought they were the only certified after market vendor for honda/acura. So what your telling me is I can buy anything by anyone, comptech's agreement with honda / acura means nothing? I thought because these parts were certified for honda/acura they did not infringe your warranty or if something did go wrong they would be covered. I guess I am wrong !

It depends. My dealership said they will cover most comptech parts just like factory parts. They're treating them like a dealer installed option. Like a steering wheel, spoiler, and what ever else. But, that's a dealer covered warranty, not a manufacturer warranty. So if my headers catch on fire and burn my engine. Then, Acura of Bellevue would cover the damage... not Acura.

Closer,
How do you like Acura of Bellevue? I'm assuming there's only this one in Washington. I got mine at Hinshaw's and it's ok but I like how Bellevue displays the Comptech stuff to let people know that it's available. Also, I hope you bought your car form that fine-ass blonde salesperson. My goodness, if she was my salesperson, I would've ended buying 2 cars!!
