Be warned There is a guy selling a wood kit for the CL, & TL(type S too) I got one. What a rip. It's a soft plastic type. It's not wood at all. In my auction the guy didn't state that. He has since changed the describtion to say it's plastic. I don't think It will go on the CL when I get it. Looks too fake! Just an FYI.

If you are referring to me as the guy selling a wood kit for 170 dollars, no I am not the same guy as on ebay. The kit I am selling is the same one that is sold on autocarparts.com. I have installed one kit on my CLS and I think it matches the orginal pretty closely. I also think all the wood kits for CLS are really Plastic, just like the fake wood you get when you buy the car.

I bought & installed the ac vent & cluster trim from autocarparts.com & it's plastic just like OEM console, door trim

 

That's b/c you have the blackwood trim. The regular wood trim should be real wood.... at least the kit I bought for my CL was real wood. I expect the Blackwood to be plastic, just like OEM... last time I checked, black, marble looking trees went extinct with the dinosaurs..... :P

 

But the kit I got from the guy on ebay, is not hard plastic. it's a very soft rubber type of plastic. I can make an indent with my fingernail. The other stuff is hard plastic.
