Wiring Road Lamps
First off I have read the thread in the 2nd gen. FAQ section about wiring road lamps into a 2003 CL-S, and got what info I could get from it. I bought two 194/168 bulb sockets, a pack of T-taps, and a pack of male & female bullet terminals. I know I am going to need some wire, but I think I have some laying around in the garage. I also have an Accord fog switch that I would like to use with the new lamps. I don't want the lamps wired into the low beams or parking lights, but totally separate so I can turn them on and off without having to illuminate other bulbs. Does anyone know how this can be done, and possible provide me with some instructions?

Its pretty easy I have not read the write up so bear with me ill start from the begining
Im goin to assume they are 2 wires oming out the Road lamps . one power one ground
there are a Couple ways to do this start with the ground, it can be grounded on the battery , body or frame
next run the power back to the switch the switch should have a power to go out to your light attach the wires togther
next take the the wire that u need to put power to the switch and run it over to the fuse panel on the drivers side and sind a power source take the fuse out and stick the wire in and put fuse back . I would suggest using a power scource that goes on with the ignition
If there is any thing I missed or the switch has more wires than just ask
good luck

I really want want to do HIDs, but I don't really have the money for kits right now. I'm getting some Ion yellow PIAA bulbs for them for now. Thanks for all of the help guys, I'm going to try to get them wired up sometime this week.

I'm going to post up a pic of the switch with the wires coming out of it when I get home. I'm hoping someone can guide me through hooking the switch up, that's gonig to be the hardest part since the switch has five wires coming out of it.

Just a guess but
One is power coming
Two are power going to the fog lights
One is to Illuminate the switch
One is ground

Unless anyone knows for sure this is what you are going to have to do
first get a test light and go to your battery and test each wire whe the switch is of and on
But my best guess would be
Blue------ Power going to fogs
Orange - Power from an ignition switch(or constant power)
Black --- Ground
Red ----- Power for illumination of the switch
Red with black- This is a tricky one but I think it would ground for the illumination but I dont know why they would not just use the other ground
The red and the red and black also may be both to the fog lights
And the the blue be illumination but I would test all the wires to see wich ones light up what I hope this helps

I found the following manuals for the accord fog lights however the colors dont match but the circuit could help:
http://www.handa-accessories.com/accord/03-4drfogs.pdf

Also if you know the year of the accord switch you maybe able to find the switch on the same site. Where did you purchase your fog lights?
