I had the sill blades and they melted on my windshield in the summer heat - I couldnt be without blades while they were getting replaced so I just went to the store anfd got some cheap replacements, I threw out the sillblades...Those cheap $18 replacements have served me better then the ~$50 sill blades...
But maybe I just got a bad batch

I never understood the concept of putting those BIG DOLLAR blades on a car.
If you keep the windshield clean and well polished with Rain-X or Zaino Z-6 the cheap refills work great.
I buy a new set of refills every spring for about 8-bucks total for both.
Usually the ice & snow rip them up pretty good if we have a rough winter.
And that goes for the 5-dollar as well as the 40-dollar ones.
