Window Tinting any rec. in Sacramento?
I just bought my STOCK CL (Type S 6speed in Anthracite)in April and was wondering if anyone in Sacramento can recommend a good window tint place? I was thinking about getting Limo in the back and 35% on the 2 front doors. Any opinions would be appreciated.
I am also thinking of putting a clear bra (X-pel) on and would like anyones experience with having it professionally fitted.

Eclipse is a great place. Maybe a little pricey compared to others but they do excellent installations. Ask for Bob, he is the owner.
I had tint installed on my CLS a couple years ago, and more recently, a clear-bra installed on my 350Z. Then I'll be heading back to them for tint on the Z in a month or so.

I made an appointment a week ago to have my tinting done at Eclipse Tinting in Sacramento. I made sure I was the first appointment at 9:30am, so I could have my car by noon. Little did I know they would keep it the whole day. I had them do 35% on front windows, back windows, and rear window. They also put black vinyl on the dot matrix in the rear window. From the outside the job looks ok, but from the inside it looks like crap. It looks especially bad in the back two windows where parts of the tint ar flush with fhe frame and others around the same frame are crooked and about 1/4" or more from the frame. Is this normal? They also had vinyl from the dot matrix overlaping the interior cloth interior on the roof. You would think they would tuck that crap in. The worst part of this is I paid $300. I will take some pics later today to see what you guys think. I don't think I like the black vinyl strip on the matrix either, so I may be having it redone, either by shaving down the dot matrix or using clear glue like I read on the tintdude forums.

i had mine done at kidwells glass in orangevale, they did a great job i had 5% done all around, they made me pay cash for the front two and wouldnt give me a receipt because it was so dark in the front but i have a lifetime warranty on the labor and films, its johnson film they use there. they also did the vinyl over the dot matrix my entire tint job was right around 200 bucks with the vinyl strip that was $20 extra

Wok, i had mine done at Eclipse and they did a nice job. They aim to please so i'm sure they will work with you to make you happy, keep us posted. Also as E-Dub mentioned, we have a pretty active group here in Sac Town. Check out our thread in Club Events and come join us. We're heading down to the Walnut Creek area to hook up with the Bay area guys on July 12th for a picnic. Also the West Coast Meet is in Medford, Oregon on Sept.12th, that's gonna be cool
