i'm getting my windows tinted next week but i was told the guy might not tint over the matrix on the back window.i know it doesnt usually come out good anyways but i'm not sure how its gonna look. has anyone else not had the matrix part tinted?how does it look? he said i will only notice it from the inside but it wont look funny.should i tell him to tint it anyways and hope that it sticks?the back window will be done in one piece also, not strips.

 

The guy that tinted mine had no problems tinting over that stuff. It looks different then the rest of the window...obvioulsy. A good tinter shouldn't have a problem.

 

Ditto.. tinted over mine as well and looks fine.. just look at the work the tinter has done in the past. This will give you a good example of how good he or she might me

 

thanks guys. i know they do good work but i think he just doesnt want to have to replace anything if it doesnt stick. maybe i'll tell him i want it tinted knowing that it might not stick.

 

Tinted over mine almost 3 years ago & it still sticks & looks great from the outside.

 

anthony, definately tint over the matrix... i think it will look shitty if you dont.

 

my tint place used a vinyl strip like over the dots then took the tint up to that, it looks clean from the outside, i have dark/limo tint 5 percent all around here is a picture from the inside and one from the outside
