Are window regulators in Acura's/Honda's a common problem??

Well, a few of you know that my passenger side regulator was pretty messed up a few months back, and i got a call yesterday from a girl with an 01 civic and she said her window just dropped and the motor is grinding. I said it was the regulator, and...yep, it was all chewed up to hell.

Is this a coincidence or a pretty frequent problem in hondas and acuras?

Replaced the passenger-side regulator in my sister's 2000 Accord Coupe about a month back.

I don't think it's a real problem for Honda products, but I've seen a number of honda/acura cars with regulators going bad, so it's def not a coincidence.
