2 things I am planning to try to get fixed at dealer, but would rather do myself if possible, just to avoid the hassle of going to the dealer.....

Passenger window rattles when going over any king or bumps, like it's loose, only happens when window is all the way up...Any insights into this or anyone else who has had a similar issue?

Second thing was my drivers seat is creaking a lot when ever I shift my weight at all, I seem to recall someone posted a fix for this way way back, but am not sure...

 

I hate my driver seat softly "popping" when I go over bumps. Usually only happens during the colder seasons. Dealer was unable to duplicate the problem.

 

my seat squeeks when turning left...annoying

 

I have somewhat of the same problems with my drivers seat from time to time. Recently it hasnt' been doing it nearly as much. Also, my passenger window rattles only when going over large bumps when the window is partially open, say 50% down.

Overall I have an almost perfectly rattle free car. Especially when compared to my boss's CLK 430. OMG rattles like crazy and costs more than twice as much.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. The dealership is there for a reason though.

 

i also have the seat squeek. no window rattles (yet). mine appears to be near my left shoulder. somewhere in the area of the seatback release lever.

you probably can't fix it. mine appears to be under the leather surface.

but if there IS a fix i'd also like to know what it is.
