Windhield wiper lines deteriorating

Hi As my title suggests, my windshield wiper lines have deteriorated, if i remember correctly there was a recall done on my car that stated that the windshield wiper lines deteriorated over time. I called my local acura deal and they aced like they have never heard of such a thing. The problem is htat when i try to wipe my wind shield, wiper fluid shoots all over my hood liner and drips all over my fuse box(not good). What should I do since acura does not want to honor it and I have not proof that there was ever a recall done on it?

well what can you do?

replace the lines. Or cut out the section where it is dripping from and get a new hose and use 2 double male pieces to put it back together.

I would just replace all the lines so u don't have this problem ever again.

I never heard of that issue with our cars either BTW

Yeah i ripped off the hood liner and found that that my male to double male plastic connector was broken into two, i replaced it with a spare i had from my turbo project but now i gotta get my hood liner back on, all the clips broke. Should i put it back on or leave it off for more cold air?

do as you'd like, there are 2 theories
- it'll keep it colder cause the engine is being exposed more
-it'll keep things cooler on a hot day by isolating the heat from the sun.

- it will make the motor louder for sure! I've done it on a previous car.

i'd put it back on personally, just cause of the noise factor, sounds cleaner.
