Will these fit a CL?

I just talked to the local Winston-Salem dealer, Flow Acura, since they had black chrome emblems in their display case.

Acura discontinued the production of the emblems for whatever reason; Flow loved the emblems, so they found an outside source that will take ANY emblems and modify them custom. Since my car is black, I am very interested. I am waiting for a quote on the front and rear "A", plus the five spaced letters on on the rear (I de-badged the 3.2CL emblem). They are quite striking!

The caviat is that it's not cheap- they estimated a $100.00 surcharge. I don't know if they will take mail or internet orders for these, so don't get too excited unless you live in this area and can drop by. They order stuff for me via phone because they know me from 17 years of buying Acuras. The lady who works there is more than helpful.

If you are really serious about your car, though, the price is reasonable.

 

Man.. that seems so expensive for emblems though...

Hopefully someone can atest to the fitment status of those first post emblems.

 

The rear A will fit but not in the same location.It will be a little lower due to the loction of the pins on the back.The front A will not fit at all.

 

man wish they had those for the cl i rather not shave off the emblems until i find black chrome cl emblems, if anybody has info please share

 

For the most part.. people do the emblem changing themselves.
