Will The Thermoblock Work With The Supercharger Setup??? Need Help Guys Please
Just got my Thermoblock spacers in today and I was thinking about just installing the Intake manifold Thermoblock spacer and skip the TB Spacer because I will be superchargering my car pretty soon since I've heard through the searches I ran into in results of the TB Thermoblock spacer will not Work with the supercharger setup. Is this true? has anyone gone through this before with the blower application? can I still drive my car with only the Intake manifold spacer installed? will codes pop out like spyware???? half of the results will take place? I don't think I wanna do the coolant bypass since my weather gets cold easily during the fall(chicago weather sucks). Need help guys? anyone?

Since you already bought them, install them. I don't think there should be a fitment or code problem, with or without the supercharger. I had the intake manifold spacer in with the Intercooler setup, soon to be re-installed . The intake manifold stayed as cool as the ambient temps with the IC. The only part I believe there was a problem with was the throttle body spacer, which your not installing.

since ive been through this, heres some tips:
1. The IM spacer will do most of the cooling for you.
2. The TB Spacer is easy to install and so you should put it on until you put the blower in. You have to remove the TB and change its position anyway, and you can take it off then.
3. The alignment with the IM will be just slightly off, not enough to create a problem.
4. You are not really changing anything significant and thus should not get any error codes. Only one indiv. had problems, everyone else has been fine. Its a pretty small mod!
Good luck

I had both the IM and the TB spacer installed with my charger w/out any problems. As stated by power3dx, the TB spacer wont be perfectly aligned, but it does work. Average boost was always in between 5.5-6 psi. The IC Kit is made by hope systems, a company owned by one of the mods here. Scalbert, he did post it couple of months back to see how much interest was there, but at that time there wasn't any. In total there are 5-10 I believe IC Kits out there for our cars.
Here is the link:

Do a search and you will find tons of info on it. I believe his 6spd dyno'd at 373 whp with the IC, and new pulley.

369 is the exact number. tq was over 300 too i believe. it was quite reliable as well, and could probably go like that for years. he might make more kits, but they will be more barebone and would require you to get some of the parts yourself. plus he needs some kind of quantity.
its too bad he doesnt have a cl anymore, comptech is working on newer cars, and we are pretty much stuck! (unless you go custom of course)
