Will strut bar reduce, or possibly remove body flex??

Has anyone noticed that if you're driving along, and put your finger between the door seal and the main car body you tend to feel serious body flex (that's the best way I can describe it)??

Will a stiffer Strut bar (like the Comptech) reduce this? Or is this because i've been rear ended one too many time in my car (for a total of twice so far), or is this a problem that everyone else seems to suffer from?

u have a pretty good suspension set up just get the neuspeed strut bar you will love it!!

i pretty much have the same setup as you plus the neuspeed strut tower bar. before the bar the car did not feel planted when turning but with the bar the car is now PERFECT!!!

our cars are generally pretty flexible due to the shear size and weight. There will always be some torqueing of the car especially when you're driving on/off uneven ground.

The strut bar will tighten up the front end slightly. To what degree, I'm not sure. It doesn't seem it's worth the money to me since there is already OEM support.

If you want to truely decrease body flex flip your car over and tig weld every single joint or areas where the sheet metal overlaps. I saw this done to the newest Civic for some British racing series.

the stock bar is decent but the car does still flex even with the neuspeed strut bar on but not as much before.

also you now begin to sacrifice safety for performance. stiffing the entire car will change the dynamics of crashes. you dont want to go too stiff or you will have a piece of sheet metal inside of you in a crash.
