Will progress drop springs from a 2000 4cy Accord Sedan

I seriously doubt they will have the correct spring rate for the much heavier CL.

nope.. wrong spring rate, but tehy will fit...

i had progress springs/koni yellows it wasn't too bad... but really really low

the konis were probably the main things that helped you out with the ride.
a progressive spring as i am sure most know, works with a generous spring rate which increases as the spring compresses. this gives a good ride for most surfaces, and it helps when the spring is pushed in during cornering.
now, if you take these springs from designed for a car weighing at least 500 lbs. different than yours, and having a diff. f/r balance, you will screw up the progressive rate design.
think of it this way, your car will think that you are constantly cornering since the spring is compressed heavily. the more spring is compressed on prog., the ride gets worse.
