i can see headers voiding your warranty in one way
taking the downpipe and smashing up the motor
on the serious note
headers should not affect your warranty. it is not a moving mechanical part...

Hate to burst ur bubble but why would spend so much money on a car which the dealer will end up owning at the end
I mean when the time comes, either u'll have to deal with the hassle of taking it back out or letting the dealer have the car with the headers (and whatever stuff u installed) which U paid for... not like they'll reimburse u in anyway

Bag the headers, if you had purchased, I'd say go for it.
Its not a financially sound decision to purchase a $1000 dollar mod, then turn around and take it off a few years later, and not be able to get nearly $1000 for it.
Then again,, leasing isn't financially sound either.

If you've got a few years on the lease get the headers. They really make the car more agressive imho. So at the end of the lease you can either sell it to an enthusiast who will appreciate the mod, take it off and sell it, or just take the loss and know you enjoyed it for 3 or 4 years. Good luck and enjoy

Mines leased. Things I have done I can take out with ease. Headers I do want, but cannot shell out the $$ for them. I can install them myself, & I would uninstall them when the time came. So for me, the $$ invested in them wouldn't be that bad. Exhaust is too loud for me, & my driving, & the only difference is the sound. I like the stock exhaust fine. The RES I would do, MM2 I would do, only because these mods can be taken out easy. My sways I put on myself, so again very little $$ to worry about. Warranty shouldn't be any problem.
