Will have my 6 speed next week

The Dealer has located my Aegean Blue Type-S 6 speed and will have the car in 2 days

But I will not be able to pick it up until at least next Monday because I have to be in training in NYC that I have been waiting for for 2 months that the company paid 4 grand for me to attend

But I will have it next week

Congrats man I was wondering when you were gonna take delivery. You got it from Rick at Smithtown Acura too right?? My car should be arriving this week and I’m gonna pick it up on Saturday.

Waiting truly is the hardest part.

All the best with your new car!

congrats man.

i thought i was getting one on saturday. test drove the 6sp and loved it (but i cant stand the cup holders and that cover for it, whats up with that). when i went in to talk about the money, they told me they would give me $16g for my car for trade. i was like wtf, my cars got 22.5k miles and looks good. so i said thanks, but no thanks and walked out.

oh well, i still love my 2001. but i miss the 6sp ride. have fun with your car.

I paid $27k for my 6SPEED

Total out the door with splashguards and sunroof visor, carpet mats, don't know if that is included. It was used with 3500 miles but they added on 1year/12k warranty and 100,000k miles on the powertrain, so I decided to go for it. Are people really getting brand new ones for $27-$28?? I'm happy with the deal.
The salesman told me it was a Honda executive car? but it turns out it was a repo via Carfax. Happier with a one-owner used car than a demo.

Congrats on the new ride.

I have had my 6 sp about two weeks, and haven't been able to put miles on fast enough. I'm at about 400, so I am starting to get on it some. Amazed at how much I like it. Finally see what many have mentioned as a "turbo" like feel when the vtec kicks in. Slightly surprised to find some torque steer at times- thought that was all dampened out. Certainly not as bad as my Saab 9-3, which threatened to take you baja- off road if you stomped on it and weren't paying attention.

Anyway- I get a sense that I am probably in the old fart ranks on this forum, but the car certainly has me acting like a teenager with his first car- washing it all the time, parking a hundred miles away from the store so I don't get dinged, etc, etc. Hope it brings a smile to your face as often as mine does for me!
