No. Warrenty is not voided for an oil change.

Keep receipts.

I post all self-performed service on my ownerlink online so there's a permanent record of the maintenance that you can easily call up if you are asked to do so.

$70 bucks is a good deal. I paid $151 for the 7500 mile service If I could get it done at a local Acura dealer, I'd pay the $70, but that's me.

I called around and all the local Acura dealers want 150 for the service (wtf).

For the 7500, it's an oil change and tire rotation. The dealer said it was $151 for the service 'cause it took 2 1/2 hours (bullshit).

If I had access to a lift, I could probably get it done in less than an hour (I'm not a "real" mechanic). Probably take me 1 1/2 hours max, to do it without a lift.

Needless to say, I won't be getting my oil change and tire rotations done at the dealer. I *might* bring it in for the more important 30K checkup, but I'm planning on doing alot more myself.

Keep your receipts, fill out the maintance book that came w/ the car. Mr. Slimey is right. Owners link is pretty nice for keeping track of all this stuff online.

My dealership charges $28 for the standard oil/filter change plus a wash/wax/vaccum/windows/tire shine
