Exclamation Will Cai Affect My 100k Warranty On Tranny

I HAVE A QUESTION. I HAVE A CAI AND MY TRANSMISSION IS ACTING UP ON ME AND IM GONNA GO TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT REPLACED. WILL THE AFTER MARKET INTAKE AFFECT MY WARRANTY IN ANY WAY. CAN THE PEOPLE IN THE DEALERSHIP DENY ME THE CHANGE OF TRANSMISSION BECAUSE OF THE AFTER MARKET PART. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!! AND WHAT CAN I DO IF THEY SAY NO TO REPLACING MY TRANNY. MY CAR HAS 90,000 MILES SO ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTY THANKS GUYS

i mean, im paranoid about that shit, so i would probably just spend an hour or two and pop in the stock air box.....then take it to the dealer, leave no room for doubt, ya know? but im relatively sure they wont deny the warranty just because of an intake...

They have to prove it if they try. So go with it on & if they give you a hard time bring up that fact & then if they still don;t want to help you go to another dealer.

Saying an intake would cause a trans failure is just dumb.

Intake does not cause tranny failures. They are in no way related. Intake just brings in more air to the combustion chamber.

Yes, but saying a faulty transmission that causes extra wear on tranny mounts has NO effect on the motor or motor mounts or any drivetrain components is dumb also. Yet they still say that.

Keep the intake and any problems they give you, refer to the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.

Well hey guys i just took my car to the dealer and i left the CAI on it and i had no problem they are changing my Tranny with no Problem my car made it with 90,000 on one tranny but now im getting it changed but yeah i answered my own question they will not bother if you have an after market intake thank
