i recently noticed a strange noise coming from the right front. the noise is can be heard from 25mph to about 65mph. it's like a rubbing noise and increases with speed. damn, it's frustrating. anyways, it's at the dealer's right now for 15k service. i hope they find the problem and resolve it. anyone else have this problem or am i the only lucky type s owner with this shit.

 

i have that kind of noise too sometimes..but can not find where they are from..damn...

just got my car back from the dealer and as expected, they said everything is fine. NO!! everything is not f*cken fine. noise is still there. the bright side is that i finally got the moonroof squeak taken care of. i'm going to bring my type s to the other dealer revangel recommended, mike harvey acura. hope they can find the problem. damn.

 

Today, I parked my car in the sun. I intentionally left the moonroof tilted up from the backso as not heat up too much. I came to drive home and what I found izzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Squeaking noises are coming from the passenger seat/door area! When I brake, when I accelaterate the squeaking noise is there.

When I Stopped at home I opened the passenger door and slam it to see it was the problem. Now after the sunset it cooled a bit. So, I have less noise!

WTF, is the CLS very sensitive to heat and variation of temprature?!!!!

Acura has to be more careful in the future about its quality control. CLS is after all a luxio car not a civic!

My CL-S is very sensitive to temperature!!! When it's cool outside, my center console squeaks when braking, excellerating, and hitting small bumps. When it's warm, no more squeaks! When it's humid outside, the rubber molding around the moonroof squeaks (I can only hear it if the visor is back).

I don't understand why things like squeaks and rattles are so prevelant in these cars!
