Why a drop MPG?

So the other day I was drunk and let my buddy drive under the stipulation that he had to drive it like he stole it! After numerous burn outs w/ smoke coming through the vents and gettin up to 136mph on the HWY for a few miles I'm now getting 19.92 mpg rather than my normal 23-24mpg overall. I understand why that tank would be shitty but the tank I'm on now is at 139.2 miles and I'm at half a tank....what would cause this? I cleaned my intake and am now running an injector cleaner. Anybody have any input for a brotha? Thanks guy!

In you and your friend's drunken stupor, he probably hit and killed someone, and you just don't remember. Check the trunk for a dead hooker and/or homeless person. The added weight could be affecting your average MPG

He didn't say his friend was drunk, he just said that he told his friend to drive like an idiot.

It's pretty good logic when you think about it....

"I'm drunk so I shouldn't drive, it just wouldn't be safe. I'll have my friend drive instead, but I'll make sure he drives recklessly, that will be much safer."

Oh by the way, they performed my lobotomy last night, the operation was a complete success .

The corpse is probably still stuck up inside the wheel well causing the car to act like it's driving with the e-brake on.

Try resetting your ECU. Winter gas formulas do tend to give you less mileage but I haven't seen a change this year yet.

I was going to mention that, but I didn't know if you guys in CA had a winter formula...

It gets down in the 30's here in MA at night now, so we're had the winter blend for awhile...
