it takes longer than usual to load, it stalls, or it will crash netscape and won't startup until i log off and log back on again. and i cant use ie because this company doesnt like microsoft.

 

Well I don't really LIKE Microsoft, especially with all of this XP activation crap, but they do have the better browser. Tell your company to grow up and get off their soap box.

Download IE 5.5 with Service Pack 2.

 

Netscape has a REALLY hard time with tables.
The tables code is really crappy, and a page with a lot of replies will send netscape's CPU usage through the roof.

If you can't use IE I suggest using the mozilla beta (www.mozilla.org) (NOT Netscape 6)which works real well. Or use Opera which is a great browser too.

 

i would deffinitly use opera...that browser is the fastest in everything...but for sum reason i couldnt get java to work

 

I have found what works best with this forum is Mcafee's Web browser. It is on a Neoplanet base and it really works great. Right now I have been using my laptop and using IE 5.5, but my computer has that loaded on it you can download it for free from Mcafee.com just search for web Broswer.

 

I'm using Window NT with Netscape 6.01 with no problem on this forum. The previous Netscape 4.76 didn't work too well. It would take forever to load a page and somtimes I had to hit the reload button many many times to update a page.
