Why doesn't anyone listen to me?

I just changed dealerships 'cause I was fed up getting the run-around from Acura of Lynnwood. I switched to Acura of Bellevue, a "Dealership of Distinction". Took it in today to get a few things looked at:

1) Have my actuator looked at 'cause I can't get the damn thing to flip while my wife revs the car (had to explain what it was to 3 people).

2) Repaint front bumper 'cause the plate holder was incorrectly fastened and had vibrated the paint off.

3) Fix that damn rear-deck squeaking (told them it was probably the brake light).

Well, after having my car from 8:30am to 6:45pm, I go to pick up my car and this is the invoice I get...of course, everyone had gone home who would have known about my concerns.

Issue 1: Does this contradict everything people on this site have been saying???

Issue 2: Thanks for the "One Time Goodwill"...I shouldn't complain.

Issue 3: Adusted my trunk contents??? WTF!!! You'd think that I would have checked that first eh? What morons.

They did give me a RSX as a loaner..non type-s. It reminds me how loud and powerless other cars can be. Handles ok.

Sorry for the long post...just needed to vent.

You need to drag them to another CL on the lot and SHOW them the thing turning when the revs get up. The 3rd break light just might have to be fixed by you...I think in the FAQ they have something on this. The paint...thats just how they do that

I have to agree with NOLACLS. It's a pain in the ass but you'll have to drag their ass to another CL to prove your point. If you need any docs, I also had my actuator fixed and I recently faxed a copy of my receipt to cnatra. PM him for a scan.

And next time, ask for an NSX. That's an N in the front, not an R.

Come on now, you KNOW I asked them for a NSX. They had already loaned it out though...

This is what happens when a service advisor has no idea about the cars they work on

I am almost due for my 15K service and will bring it in to Southcenter/Tukwila. I want them to do the brakes and wipers. Will see how much hassle they give me. So far, they have been good but I have not had major need of work under warranty.

15K service was quoted at $168

Ask them if they know anything about faulty actuators. I could then just have the Bellevue dealership give them a call. Thanks.

Acura of Seattle at Southcenter is alright. I brought my car in for LOF on saturday and they told me I should do my 30K so I said, fine...got a loaner? They gave me a RSX to drive around for the 4 hours it took for the service. Not bad to get a loaner at the last minute on a saturday. Too bad the service cost me $400!!!
