With one fog light out. WTF is with that.

 

I've noticed the exact same thing. I guess it's because of the bulbs the car comes with?? It's always the people with those dingy brownish looking stock bulbs, never anyone with superwhites installed.

 

I am guilty of this for almost a month while I waited for my damn M-6's to be shipped (were backordered).

 

 

those crappy bulbs just don't last very long. That happened to me and proved to be a great excuse to upgrade to PIAAs.

there's a service bulletin to get the bulbs updated...or just replace w/ nicer aftermarket bulbs

 

One of mine went out so I just disconnected the other one too =)

Since it's almost purely cosmetic, I don't really give a fuck.

i actually have both mine out, now that i remember, should i take the bulbs out? is it bad leaving them in there? I have the polarg in there.

 

mine has been like that for a month now changing it today.
But dont what kind to use so they look like the headlights.

Saw a CL-P couple days ago with this problem....Rolled down my window and pointed to my ACL sticker on the side window.

 

I don't even see any other CL's around here.

thats actually funny where i live its a few hours from an acura dealer.
the other day i went to wegmans and this woman with a black cls took up 2 parking spots at the end of the row like i did after i pulled in 2 seconds later. she didnt say a work musta been stuck up or in a hurry. a mini cl meet w/o the invites

 

I used to see a blue TL every so often (teacher at my highschool drove it), but i'd never see any other Acura CLs/TLs.

Although i see alot of them in Ann Arbor (closest dealer to me is located there).

Mine went out so I bought Polarg M6's.

They lasted about a year. For those who have put in M6's in the driving lights...remember how hard it was to get the bulb through the hole? Yeah...it's even worse trying to get them out. They DO NOT fit! I ended up grabbing a pair of scissors and cutting the glass to tiny pieces of shards so I can rattle most of it out.

So buyer beware!

Just fixed mine. The right 19169 was out, so I replaced both with 19272's. PITA to get the removed in those tiny spaces.

 

I never wanted to start a thread about it but in Atlanta, that shit is nuts. Dang near every CL I have seen has a fog out. Not Tls though. Only Cls.

One day, my best friend and I with some people were shooting the shit, standing outside our cars talking. I was like "dude, your foglight is out again". He kicked the shit outta it and it came back on. So is it a short?

 

for those who haven't or don't plan to upgrading, the dealership should replace the fog lights for free.

Mine burned out in June and the dealership replaced them for free and they burned out again a few weeks ago and the dearship relplaced the second set for free as well.

 

I've noticed that mine sometimes both go out, and sometimes one will be out then both will come on. But neither of them have worked for a while now, i'm gonna replace them soon.

I've never seen this phenomenon around here and we have tons of CLs. We're likely Acura's biggest or second biggest market area. Then again I'm not a sexy manly man like Tony.

Guilty...but my PIAA 19224 come in next week

 

I've only had my POLARG's installed for two month's and they went out.

It's alright though; I wasn't too happy with the color match, or lack thereof. So I'll give the PIAA's a shot this time.

By the way, what is the best PIAA bulb to get (meaning, brightest)? (I'm thinking the 19224 is the bright one....)

And anyone know where someone can score some....QUICK (like by this weekend)?

Chaptorail, not only am I from LI I have a light out too!,
waiting for the heating element for my driver seat that was ordered 3 weeks ago by Acura of VS to come in and then I will have the bulb replaced, along with the sunroof rattle, the rattle from the tailpipes looked at,
By the way on the block I work on there are 3 CLS' including my own.

 

I've had the PIAAs almost 2 years. Still work, but the coating peeled off. Blue crap in the bottom of the housing. I properly installed them.

When one does burn out, the fake lamps go, and the 1100X go in.
