Just wondering who's put down a deposit or plan to buy the aero kit? What color car do you have and what other visually apparent mods do you have?

Visually; Comptech drop, 18" Silver Inspyres, Cleared/Painted SSM headlights, Upper and Lower RonJon grill, debadge and tint. PLus I will be getting a BBK but thats parts looks, part performance.

Granted I plan on changing the whole look of the car this summer once the kit comes in.

 

What do you mean by this? Do you mean that the kit changes the look of the whole car? Or do you mean you're going to change up even more w/ additional mods when the kit comes on?

 

i think he means hes gunna change the overall appearance of the car once the kit comes in (i.e. new rims, new paint job, etc etc)

Pretty much, although I don't know if I'll be able to afford new wheels and paint, but well see. I plan on swapping the headlights and tails to 03s, 03 mirrors, and taking off the RonJon grill and making a Mugen style one.

 

I've loved Rondy's work since the beginning... so I will continue to support his designs. I may swap out my Servos for some forged RJ's....

 

right now my 03 silver CL looks stock besides tints and debadged, but I hope to have the kit on by April/May. Im saving $ to fix a scrape and fill in the license plate hole on the front bumper, buy the M5 lip and RonJon front grille. I want to do everything at the same time (plus install my eibach pro-kit thats sitting in my closet). Im going for a nice clean look.

I got 2 questions-
Does RonJon still sell front grilles? I havent contacted them yet but they do not show them on their website. and is it the years 99-03 bmw lip that fits our cars?

 

He stopped selling them, but I will be selling mine sometime soon. I actually have both the upper and the lower (he only made one lower and that was for me )

as for the M5 lip. which would you recemend? the BMW, or replica spoiler?
is there any real differance? besides price

 

i have my deposit in....so that makes 5. Car is PDG with coptech springs and HP blue shocks. RonJon 19in Inspry rims with upper and lower mesh grills and tinted. You can see it on Ron's page it's the one in front front yard of my house.

 

For all those getting the kit... are you going to paint the rear diffuser? My CL is silver and im leaning toward not painting it like the prototype. Im curious as to what everyone is going to do
