Well, it looks like the BOO BIRDS and pessimistic folk are coming out of the woodwork now.
I guess I will officially END this initial survey of my RAFFLE idea.

I was hoping to keep this small and “in the family” between here and the TL site, but it looks like I can’t do that without ruffling too many feathers.

I received MANY positive responses via E-Mail, this thread & Private messages good for about 210 ticket sales if they would have all come through with the payment.
It looks like I probably would have been able to come up with the (300) I was shooting for.

I will be posting an advertisement in the proper FOR SALE section of this Forum in a few days.
Asking price if anyone is interested will be 26,000-dollars / best reasonable offer.

DON"T lock this!!! It's been along time since we had something interesting shaking on this board. Come on ??? we can only talk about oil for so long.

 

1. Fill out paper work for the next year trying to get a PA raffle off the ground. Be sure to find legal and other counsel willing to work for free.

1. Pick a foreign country to use (Bahamas, etc) to transfer the car to for "raffle". (Some corrupt high placed official would certainly arrange the paperwork for a small fee.)

2. Open a Web Based Soft Porn site to make so much money that it makes all of these issues moot. Heck, buy up the existing 2001/2002 CLS Acuras and install/retrofit with BMW SMG II boxes. Enough money should be left over to buy ALL the members a new Acura CL-3.5L-SMGIIs).

3. Get into the gunrunning racket and supply anti-Taliban forces. Contact appropriate government department.

4. Move to South Africa and open up a Gem Trading Ring (With the appropriate clearances).

5. Remove automatic transmission and open a "theme park" and charge admission to have Acura members take shots at fried transmissions from totaled vehicles. (With full legal paper work done -- off course.)
