Who wants a bodykit?

I just talked to a salesman at Wings West. I am trying to help him show the people making the decisions on which bodykits to develop that there is strong enough demand for the cls bodykit to warrant the $80k outlay to design and fabricate a mold.

If you would be ready and willing to plunk down the 700-900 bucks it would cost to purchase a TASTEFUL kit (like the one currently available for the tl) please leave your name so I can make a list. I am also going through a list of dealers that would be willing to purchase kits to offer them as options to new cls buyers.....

I know this has been done before to no avail, but I am tired of waiting. Please let me know if you are interrested.....

Based on sales of the WW kit for the TL, I can't imagine them wanting to make you guys one, although I hope they do. Yeah I know what you're going to say...but there are a hell of a lot more modded TLs out there then CLs.

Hey if they did make a kit for the CL it could eliminate about half the posts on this board.

Count me in too. As many people have already stated, it should be sporty but not "ricey." I'm just pissed that Acura won't make an official body kit for the CL.. Why would they make one for the TL and the RSX and skip the CL?????? I guess I'm going to have to take a trip to Honda's headquarters in Japan and slap the department that made the decision!!!

Count me in! Wings West makes high quality kits that are classy and not too extreme. Urethane is the way to go!

Obviously it would take a little time to finalize a design and fabricate the molds for production.... How many of you would be willing to pre order, or put down a deposit based on seeing a final design and production date?
Maybe if I could round up 50 or so people that would be willing to drop down a deposit, we could get the ball rolling....

Are WW kits usually urethane or fiberglass?

Funny…….Notice how the reply’s slowed down after “deposits” were mentioned.
I’m still holding faith for a 2003 kit option from the factory.

For the record I wouldn’t be putting up any cash until I saw at least a prototype.

I am in on a kit. I am even willing to put down a deposit after seeing a diagram. Also, the kit MUST be poly-urathane, because i am lowered and hate curbs........................don't want to get a new one every time)
