when I was shopping for the Cl, red was the obvious choice. the CL is sort of plain, so I figured the red would stand out. Plus everywhere I look all I see is Silver CLS.
And no color makes no diffreence in insurance quotes, that is an old Urban legend.

Well when i slapped all that stuff on the car last month it sure wasn't an investment. It was a loss. I'll never get back the money, or even close, for what i paid for everything.
However I figure i'm gonna hang onto this car for awhile so i figured why not.

my all time favorite color is Fire engine red(but i'm a firefighter so what do you expect). but the color San Marino Red(on the CLs and 98-02 Accord coupes) i think that color hot. Now if you guys seen the new TL in that darker red it's okay but i wouldn't have it. I'd go with Satin Silver in the new TL

OUTRAGEOUS CL TYPE S - is that a Tbird behind your CL ?? My last daily driver was a 94 tbird, and my brother was commenting on how the dash is kinda similar to my CL's dash (it's a coupe, etc). My bro' has a 91 Tbird SuperCoupe.
I don't think so. I kept the last car for 9 years. I'd love to mod the CL, but I think the money would be better spent towards a summer/weekend only car. The CLS is fast enough to get me into trouble stock. Might be better to keep it that way.
I could easily put 5-7K into the CLS without the SC (just the mods you did plus wheels and tires). I'm thinking that the 5-7K could be put into a 79-89 Porsche 911 (they run about 10K-20K or a 72-73 911 for about 10K).
I think a stock CLS might compliment a weekend only car nicely.

i dont know its my neighbours car, i think its a v4 or v6 not the v8 version, i myself have a 5.0 gt 90 covert, but love driving my turbo jetta 5 speed, that shit is fun.
