changing the clutch only requires the tranny getting removed, not the whole motor haha. Or are you talking about doing the motor because the car will be inoperable?

The sub-frame needs to come out to do the clutch. Its easier to drop everything.

Or at least thats what I keep saying

things I have had to replace

1. both lower ball joint at 45K
2. rear brakes at 60K
3. Crossover pipe gaskets at 65K
3. left lower ball joint at 65K

Things acura paid for

1. transmission at 71K

update:

87K

5. Lower ball joints at 86.5K
6. Front brakes at 81K and now show 50% worn
7. 3rd battery will be at 90K (estimated milage when I get the replacement from my cousin in MI)
8. new trans is starting to slip under hard downshifting.......(IE getting on the gas to merge)

That a way to use it to your advantage! I came close to trading it for a Lexus but my car wasn't worth shit so I ended up keeping it. It's pretty reliable so I can't complain.
