Anyone know where I can get a 2001 painted CL-s rear bumper. Mine is kind of beat up and I wanted to get it repained but the body shop said it would cost $350. Is that high? Thanks for the help.

My Dealer quoted me a price of $425. I didn't think that was high and I wouldn't mind paying it as long as I wouldn't be able to tell (I have the Sundance Gold color). Given that I don't trust them, I never had it done.

 

350 isn't bad at all. I have 2 quotes for over 500 just to fix some scratches.

i wAS quoted over 500 2 times as well for a painted bumper installed. i also got a quote for under 400 as well, and as long as the shit head who hit me pays, i will get it done.

On another topic. Does anyone know how to minimize the little white rock marks on the front bumper and front of the hood on a black car? They drive me nuts but I guess that's what happens with a black car.


Also I ordered a Basslink for my CL-S on the recommendations of many people on this board. I also put in the PIAA light in my road lamps.

This board is great for tips on how to improve my CL-S. Keep them coming! Now if I could just get my rear deck to stop rattleing.

 

I had the same problem on my previous car (Black SVX I bought back East). I put StonGard on my CL and love it. No more chips on the hood and bumper.

 

Can any one help me to find theTl to Cl body kit mods.... and im a new member and kinda dont know how to use the posts or threads etc...... PLEASE HELP!! Thanks.
