Hey I know I’m resurrecting and old post here, and I’m from the Subaru community, but I’m currently getting ready to sue level 10, and I’m searching the internet for any info on anyone looking to or has previously sued level 10. Do you guys remember any more details about this Level 10 lawsuit, anyone I can get in touch with or any links so I can read up more?

They dicked me pretty hard (Current total spend on this transmission $10,000), and I know they've done this to many people, so I’m hoping maybe I can build a strong case with enough people. After receiving their response to my BBB complaint, I can see they have no problem lying through they're teeth, and if I take them to court it'll be my word against theirs, so anything I can dig up on them will help me greatly. I appreciate any response and information.

i don't think anyone followed through w/level 10. hope you get some of your $$ back.

What exactly happened? did they just take your money or did they give you a shit product?

 

Thanks for the bump... Basically they kinda did both. They charged me for a full rebuild without asking me first if that's what i wanted, then it leaked from day 1 among other problems. When i took the car someplace else to get inspected and repaired, upon opening the transmission the mechanic said there was no clear evidence of internal work on the transmission. Basically they charged me $4800 for a cheap torque converter, valve body, and black paintjob.

 

Hmm, kinda sounds like that one experience someone had with Dr. Evil tranny.

That sucks, man. I really hope you get at least a portion of your money back. I remember checking out the Level 10 website when I had my auto but I don't remember what anyone else said about their stuff. Good luck.

 

don't one of our resident 6 speed 98-02 accord guys have the dr. evil? i remember him praising it pretty highly from what i remember..
