Where does the tranny fluid go in the 6 speed tranny? (pics)

??? I'm a bit confused. The only bolt I unbolted had a spring in it with balls in it (the black bolt in the very last pic to the right). Not sure if that's where it would go...And when I took the spring out, I didnt pay attention if the spring went on a ball, or if the spring was seperated from the balls?

there. Allout show it all out lol. and don't over fill and do not use synchromesh friction modified, it's too thin! regular synthetic synchromesh will be fine...

never tried that yet, but i would assume it's gonna work fine like GM and Pennsoil. i heard from NSX guys that they mixed the friction modified with reg modified.

2 bottles of reg GM modified and 1 of GM friction modified

There is a check ball and spring under each of those bolts. Drop the ball into the hole first, then the spring, and then screw in the bolt.

My tranny is on the floor. I'm changing my clutch, pressure plate, axle, and half shaft. So everything is disconnected.

I overfilled the tranny last night and drove it around the neighborhood once, and then it sat in the garage for 11 hours before I drained it from the overflow bolt. I overfilled it by a lot I think. (I guess it wasn't completely drained)

Do you guys think damage could have occured in that small period of time?

Nope. There's an overflow. If you end up with fluid dripping from between the motor and gearbox, you'll know the souce.

You don't know how much better that made me feel, thanks. I'm just glad all this hard work didnt go to waste. I was reading some of the old threads and read that the fluid would seep into the clutch housing and cause damage, that's what freaked me out the most.

Thanks everyone for all the help
