Talking Where does this plug go??

Hey guys, I was performing some intake cleaning and when I removed the intake manifold I found this loose plug. It was right beside the power steering pump too. It doesn't seem to be affecting performance and the steering is fine and there is no CEL. Any suggestions?

Was there ever any engine work done? I had bent valves and used head from a spare auto cl-s and have an extra plug. It drove me crazy at first bc I though I forgot to plug something in. But then I compared the head and its an extra sensor the auto have that thw 6spd don't.

I'm not too sure since it was the first time I took off the intake. Did you ever find where the plug went and is there anyway to check and see if there was engine work by looking at the engine?

I don't have a connector on my 6spd harness. Guess it was some sensor that the autos only had. It doesn't bother me or affect performance. So I'm not worried about it. Try running a carfax report on it

that one plug rajca is talking about is on heads from automatic j32s. If you car is a 6 speed, then it doesnt have to be plugged in. You can just leave it alone. either that or remove it and replace it with a nut.

The carfax came out clean, but that doesn't mean there wasn't any work done to it. Considering the car had 4 previous owners, it might be the case that it was replaced. But there isnt any evidence of the engine or head being replaced, not that I know of. Anyway, the engine runs perfectly and hasn't given me any problems thank God!
