misfire code shows occasionally when you bump up against redline rpms. also could be loose plug wire or faulty CPS ... 5&6 are last 2 cyliners on passengers side

I get an engine misfire code on about 80% of my 2-3 shifts no matter if I use SS or D5. I have not ben able to figure out why. Next stop is the dealer.

Hey I had the same problem

Its your Fuel Injectors coils are a good bet, a way to test them is unplug them and listen if there is a change in the noise of the engine running but i will tell you its not them, it might but im putting my money on fuel injectors, u need to take the whole intake apart

I had the same code showing on CEL. Went to Autozone, they suggested getting new spark plugs to begin with because the Ignition Coils run about 45 USDollars a pop! I got 6 new spark plugs for 2.79 USDollars each and did the labor myself. I could only replace 4, 5, and 6 because they were up front, the 1,2,3 cycilnders are in the back of the engine and super hard to get to! Anywayz...... I replaced 3 plugs and then reset the CEL by unplugging the positive power line to the battery for 15 seconds. Car doesn't slip and run bad anymore. Before new plugs, once I hit 50 MPH the engine would hesitate and slip!
TRY SPARK PLUGS FIRST! Anywayz...... now I have to mess with my damn passenger power window! ARRRRRRRRHGG one thing after another! I took my door panel off and got into the white protective plastic and found loose, tangeled wire with round pieces and other small white pieces. Only thing I don't know is DO I HAVE to replace the whole power window motor? I can hear the motor working, just doesn't pull window up and down! ;-(
All I know is I am not going to let dealership put it in because it should be an easy process. Just need to get the pieces.

Okay, I am done talking... lol

Did you even try? Yeah, they are hard to get to but if you take your ratchet apart and stick the extension and socket down the hole, then use the ratchet to only loosen the plug. After that, take the ratchet off again and remove by hand... Not that hard.

I replaced all my plugs and it took me less than a 1/2 hour. And that was with inspection of the old plugs getting a phone call and being called to walk something upstairs.

Oh and I hope that you dont have a CLS. Those $3 plugs are not what that motor calls for...

If you're going to be as half ass about the window as you were the plugs, you might as well just leave it broken.

a swivel adaptor helps a lot. also, unbolt the bracket for the imrc actuator and it'll be much easier to the pass. side rear plug.
