Wheel well lining rips off!

So I'm driving back from beach yesterday and just get back on the highway after getting some gas. I go up to about 75 and then I hear a loud ripping sound and then a bang! Thought my front tire blew out but I'm still moving fine. Look in the rear view and see a big black piece of plastic in the middle of the road behind me!?! I'm like wtf did i run over that and not see it? So i pull over to the next exit and see that my inner wheel well lining is gone. How the hell does that get ripped off or even fall off. I all stock so theres no way wheel rubbing caused that. There like 5-8 screw points that I can see that should be holding that thing up.

I'm going to call the dealer today and see if that is in the warranty, but that probably won't matter since i'm close or even up on the warranty period. anyone else had this problem?

i just replaced mine like a week ago... its very easy... just pop off a few clips and screws. you;d have to be a retard to pay someone else to do it.

theres a few clips on the inside above the tire and behind it as well.

it's possible for it to bend the fender if gets ripped out, so be careful.
