check this out for individual wheel manufacturers:

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=141626

or www.rdmwheels.com or www.wheelsnext.com both have pretty good prices. email them and ask for quotes and they will usually give you a better deal than the prices listed.

We have some wheel/tire packages but our selection is limited. What I did was get the 5Zigen Copse and ordered the tires through TireRack. Even at retail prices and after mounting and balancing it worked out to be cheaper then any other place I could find online... plus, I got the exact tires I wanted.

I don't think you'll regret going with 17" wheels. I have a 03 CL-S and I went with 17" rims. I would have loved to go with 18" rims but I really think that the extra rubber will save the tires from pothole damage. I hit a big one about a week after I got the rims ... scuffed up the wheels a little but no damage to the rim.

^^ he meant to regret 17"s when he installs 18"s.

That because ride gets more bumpy, and tires/rims are more likely to suffer from potholes.

imo, 18's on the CL look perfect with either 40 or 45 series tires...

Thanks for the replies, I'm only interested in purchasing a package, especially if its online. I dont know enough about how to read tire and rim sizes to know what will fit with what, +i'd have to get the balanced on my own.

If ur getting 17's - go with 225/45/17 or 235/45/17 tires
If ur getting 18's - go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 tires

Thanks for the help. I understand what the 225 is, what 17 is, but what does 45, or 40 represent?

The sidewall # is "Aspect Ratio". Its the ratio of the height of the tire's cross-section to its width. 45 means that the height is equal to 45% of the tire's width.

i stopped by national tire and battery during lunch, i'm not sure how expensive they are. I'd like a one stop shop to get this done.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!

They are a huge rip off. They will charge you up the ass.

Best thing might be to find a package online. Really, unless there's a specific package out there that you really like, I'm not sure that you will save a whole lot of money by getting a packaged deal. Getting them separate allows you to get the tires that you want instead of just getting stuck with whatever the package comes with. If you get them separate, hit me up on PM, I'll let you know of a place in Hyatsville that will mount AND balence for $10 a wheel.

Okay, sounds good. Thanks for your help. I need to do a little more research into what tires will fit with what rims.

I went to Tire Rack because I wanted the SSR's and they weren't offered elsewhere. The package came mounted, inflated, balanced, w/lug nuts, caps, locks. All I had to do was install. About as painless as can be. Except for payment.
