Hey, this is my first message on this forum. Hi everybody. Okay, let's get down to business. I'm interested in purchasing aftermarket wheels for my 2002 CL Type S but can't seem to locate the wheel offset for the stock wheels. I've contacted the Acura dealer and the service department tells me that information is not located in the service manual.

I have located a couple of sites on the web that indicate the offset is 42mm but since I have no way to verify that, I was wondering if any of you good people know for a fact what the wheel offset is for the Type S. Does anyone know???

Let me be the first to welcome you to this place. I'm still on stock wheels so I haven't done the homework on offset. But if I were to desire this information, I would go to the search button at the top and type " offset" and peruse the info offered. Good luck.

Check The Inside Of The Rim Behind One Of The Spokes. I Think It's +50 (Stock) If You Want 18" +42 Or Higher, 19" +45 Or Higher.

 

stock cl-s rims are 52mm offset definetly, I just checked. 17" x 7"

 

I have CLS rims sitting in my garage and they're 55 mm offset.

I live in Merced, a bit far from Sac but not out of the question to drive for a day. However, "My" CL is actually my wifes. I don't get to drive it much. Although, if you and your group where going to drive some where cool, I might be able to convince my wife to go. Besides, she's always complaining that I never take her anywhere.
