135-140mph in my 88CRX 15years ago . My 01 CL 3.5 and supercharged 135mph. :o

 

Top speed is 155mph...no problem the car felt good to me...I have a great 5 mile stretch of open freeway to work with. I don't think may car is limited cause it was still pushing

 

Haven't tried with the s/c yet.....

I have had my CL-S6 up to about 140 ish, but the wind noise REALLY increases once past 135mph and makes the experience not so nice. I would absolutely never EVER do a top speed run where there were any turns involved. A bump at 140mph in the middle of a turn could equal death. I also banged the 112mph limiter in my 2000 taurus about 500 times and I think my 91 Bonneville topped out at like 105 mph. :o

I did 156 on I-95 in my auto.. it usually gets a fuel cut at about 150 but i was going down hill and got the extra 6mph ..

135 then lost traction around a sweeping curve and drifted about 200 ft then she broke loose. Was ok till she came back arond and i hit that curb at about 80. Left tire was straight and my right was at a 35 degree angle outward. Won't do that no more.
