i got to 127 with my little honda civic before i got pulled over by a state trooper 
on the 3000gt forums, ive read my car (n/a 3000gt) can reach up to 160.. but i dont need another ticket.

Please check out the thread where some guy got a ticket in a vette doing 147....I used to street race my 1984 mod'd Mustang GT until one by one my friends wrecked their cars and one of us and his girlfriend got killed racing. Mustang's top speed 155...way tooooo fast for the highways. Never driven my CLS over 100 or so.

Well i've only gone above 100 once in my cl, and wouldnt you know it i got pulled over for 110 in a 65 and got reckless driving. Im not too eager too go through that again.

Top speed, well i've done it in numerous cars, mind you on closed courses.
The CLS6MT so far 140ish, only has 2300 Kms at this point
Gsr mod'd , 147mph
911 C4 163mph
2003 Dodge viper SRT10 with henessy 600 package, 176 Mph and i let up, too freaking scary.
Mind you i race, and as well teach advance driving schools. I don't recommend speeds like this on every day roads. Even on closed tracks its basically Russian rouette.....

-125 in the my CL-S then pussied out...i was scared and getting caught wasnt worth it, it was 430pm and i was racing a fixed up 2000 honda accord coupe

thats funny! when i took my CL on the test drive, the salesman had me get on the highway... and he's like "go ahead, see what this thing can do" so i punched it and and go thru the gears and go right thru a state police speed trap....

now when i speed, i might go like 85-90 and follow a pack of cars. too stressful being out in front of the pack.

140, on stock Mich's and CT Springs, felt very solid and this was in comparison to hitting 120 before the drop, and she felt floaty then.

152 stoped by governor
I got my 02 CLS auto up to 152 on I-485 at 3am, then the governor kicked in 
. She still had some left, i would say I could have got to about 165 170. At 152 i was at about 5500 rpm, i think i was more trying to watch the road, but I know i wasn't close to topin out. The handling was really good considering the speed i was at. When you think about it a nascars average speed is about 170, 180 so were not doin to bad.

I don't think I've taken my Z much over 100mph. Top speed is supposedly 159 but I'll never see it. Too scared of tickets lately.

i had 4 friends die when the stupid ass driver pushed his type R to 130 on a curve.
car flipped over 4 times and crunched against a boulder.
they were only 15-16.
so i try to learn from their error... i only go fast on straight lines and not on curves 130mph for me
haha im a lil fucked up aren't i? they shouldn't have went so fast on a curve, esp with such a heavy load.... in the afterlife im gonna have to tell them how stupid they were to even attempt that.
i guess they watched too much initial D

oh yea i also went 325 km/hr on a lambo on the autobahn 2 years ago. i thinkt thats somewhere near 200mph but not quite... i still get chills when i remember that experience.... the car sucks down onto the pavement at that high speed... ridiculous.
