What's next?

Hi everyone. I just signed up here, but I've been reading for a week or so. I have an 01 CL-S, just added CAI. Can't decide what's next -- headers, pulleys, 18"?? any thoughts? Exhaust may be a possiblity, i just don't want the car to sound like a lawnmower on crack.

Headers for power, and a drop for appearance. Wheels can wait. Exhaust doesn't do much, but makes the car look and sound better, but it can also wait.

Welcome .

It depends, really. Do you want better power, or better handling?

If you want power, then definitely do headers and pulleys first. If you want handling, then get 18"s and do suspension mods. 18"s without a drop will look like a 4x4.

Welcome to the forum.

There are also OBX and Megan Headers. Some have questioned the quality.

I have OBX headers and not a single problem with them.

Others have had problems with cracking on the OBX headers though.

There is also AlphaWerks headers (I heard the last batch has no fitment issues and quality is good) and Stone headers. I cant comment on Stone because I never did reasearch on those

Sweet, this info is great. I stopped by the local shop today just to see what they could get. The guy mentioned a reflash from Jet Tech (sp?), but said to do all other bolt on mods first. Any knowledge of JetTech, or any other chips/reflashes?

I wouldn't do the jet reflash. It hasn't been proven to work with out cars.

OK, I've been checking out the Megan/Stone/OBX headers. The only ones I've been able to find are for a '98 Accord that will supposedly fit the '01-03 CL. Is this correct, or am I off the track here? I never looked under the hood of a 98 Accord, but it still seems kind wierd....
